Yi-Chen LEE

Yi-Chen Lee is a Paris-based fashion, portrait and editorial photographer whose practice bridges photojournalism, conceptual photography and commercial image-making.

His methodology is rooted in observation, narrative and visual symbolism. Journalism taught him to read a scene. Conceptual photography taught him to construct one. Commercial photography puts both in service of a client's creative vision. These three stages are not separate identities. They are extensions of the same methodology.

Based in Paris since 2017, his series Magnified, Myth Chapter 1, Univers and Sanitary Beauty have received international recognition through awards and publications. Magnified was exhibited and acquired for the permanent collection of the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts in Japan. His work has been published in Fisheye Magazine, Photo Vogue, The Eye of Photography and Cent Magazine.

He creates fashion editorials, brand campaigns, artist portraits and commissioned portraiture for clients seeking images that combine aesthetic impact with narrative depth.

Available for commissions in Paris and internationally. Fluent in Mandarin, French and English.
